I am interested in any and all infroamtion I can get on Lapbanding surgery. My insurance has denied the surgery even though I am morbidly obese and have high blood pressure, not to mention polymyalgia rheumatica, anxiety and deoression mostly all because of my weight. I am only 55 and starting to have trouble getting around and even having trouble contin uing my water aerobics which I love. So whatever informaiton you can share is of great interest to me and Thanks

Funny u talk about surgeons in the U.S not being upfront about the risks involved with design of band, ect.In 2007 daughter went to Puerta Villarta and had band surgery.18 months later she was minutes from death,and hopsitalized for 10 days,and thousands in hospital bills,because the band had eroded into her stomach.Doctors everywhere need to advise of the risks.It was never discussed,i was there,i know.She gained back all her weight,is depressed,and cannot get the band again.AND doctors in mexico are not being held accountable.
